Terry P. O'Halloran started in the Insurance Industry over 35 years ago. He was soon joined by two partners – Linda O’Halloran & Eleanor Downie.
As a consummate insurance professional, Terry feels passionately about the industry and strives continually to raise overall standards within it. With this in mind he has become a well respected author of six books – representing different aspects of the profession. He is frequently asked to give presentations on various topics from ‘Communicating technical concepts to ‘Trusts’ and their practical usage together with running a fee-based practice.
His book 'If Only Politicians Had Brains' opens up the debate on many topics. For more information on the book visit our publishing web site at LifePublications
Terry was asked by industry colleagues to put on a seminar/workshop to explain in understanding terminology 'How to Run a Fee-Based Practice'. This is as a result of running his own Fee-based practice for over 20 years and selling the manual - FEE-PACTM.
Following a very succesful pilot day in Grantham in January he put on seminars around the country, from Edinburgh to London and Bristol to Grantham. These went very well and with positive feed back he has decided to put some more on later in the year. If you think this might be something you are interested in why not e-mail him and register your interest - let him know when and where you would like to see a seminar/workshop being held. He established his practice in Lincoln in 1970 and it has steadily grown since then.
Early in his career he realised that there was a serious need for anglicised technical books that were both easy to read and understand.
His first venture - 'You Sign a Little Cheque We Sign a Big One' - was so successful that very quickly this was updated to 'You Sign'.
Soon other professionals began to experience and benefit from the writings of Terence O'Halloran and it was not long before he undertook his biggest venture 'Mountains Out Of Molehills' for communicating technical concepts. .
Terence has always made full use of his experience and this can be seen by his prolific use of actual cases. With 'Mountains Out Of Molehills' a partnerships was formed with the illustrator Bob Lole and so was born the family of Lole's Moles - characters used throughout the book to make the reading and understanding much easier.
More recent publications are - "'Trusts' - A Practical Guide" and "'Stakeholder Pensions' - A Practical Guide" is latest book "If Only Politicians Had Brains" is another hit with the readers. More details of all the books can be found at Lifepublications own web site.
